Whom shall I fear,

So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not fear; what can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6)

42) Trust In God

  1. I trust in God, my savior, the one who will never fail

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold (Psalm 18:2)

  1. Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood, and what he did for me on Calvary is more than enough.

…by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit…through Jesus Christ our Savior. (Titus 3:5b-6)…by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross (Col 2:14)

  1. I sought the Lord and he heard and he answered, that's why I trust him.

I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears (Psalm 34:4) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5)

  1. He has been my 4th man in the fire time after time

I see four men unbound, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt… (Daniel 3:25)

Later in song

All is at rest, I know the author of tomorrow, has ordered my steps,

For we who have believed enter that rest… (Hebrews 4:3) The steps of a man are established by the Lord; when he delights in his way (Psalm 37:23)

I´m  praising my risen King and Savior all day long.

I will extol you, my God and King… and praise your name forever and ever (Psalm 145:1-2) to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever… (Jude 1:25)

43) Living Hope (Phil Wickham)

  1. Jesus Christ, my living hope, who could imagine so  great a mercy. The God of ages stepped down from glory to wear my sin and bear my shame.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3) ...that God sent his only Son into the world… to be the propitiation for our sins (1 John 4:9b-10b)

  1. Hallelujah praise the one who set me free, death has lost its grip on me, you have broken every chain, there´s salvation in your name.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Cor 3:17) …by the power of God who saved us… through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:8b-10b)

  1. The work is finished, the end is written, the cross has been spoken, I am forgiven.

When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. (John 19:30) He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins (Col 1:13-14)

Later in song

The king of kings calls me his own,

…he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords (1 Timothy 6b:15)

Then came the morning that sealed the promise, your buried body began to breathe.

Jesus said to them…”Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit (John 20:21-22)

Jesus Yours is the victory.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57)
