General Fund Manager

Summary of Organization: The individual selected for this position will join a cohesive team of dedicated Christian Patriots that support the Blessed2Teach (B2T) Ministry.

Title:  General Fund Manager

Position: Part-time (hours vary, but estimated up to 10 hours per week)

Who May Apply: Position is open to all B2T Backstage Members

Major Duties: The General Fund Manager (GFM) is the steward of the contributions entrusted to them. They must enforce standards of accountability to assure funds are collected and disbursed in an appropriate and sound fashion.

The GFM will oversee all donations that are deposited into the B2T General Fund. Funds consist of membership fees and donations that are separate and distinct from the Benevolence Fund deposits. The GFM will be solely responsible for handling all contributions and disbursements from the fund using acceptable accounting practices. The GFM will be responsible for developing and updating written procedures for ensuring accountability of funds and accurate financial records.

The GFM will act as the Lead for donations, providing guidance and direction for the Benevolence Fund Manager in funds accountability.

To carry out general oversight of the funds, a quarterly report must be prepared and submitted to the Minister. At a minimum, the report should contain the beginning and ending balance of the fund, and an account of all deposits and expenditures during the quarter.

Customer Service Representative (Two positions)

Summary of Organization: The individual selected for this position will join a cohesive team of dedicated Christian Patriots that support the Blessed2Teach (B2T) Ministry.

Title:  Customer Service Representative (Two positions)

Position: Part-time (estimated at up to 10 hours per week)

Who May Apply: Position is open to all B2T Backstage Members

 

Major Duties: The incumbent in this position is the first point of contact with B2T members and the general public that have forwarded inquiries or requests for resolution to B2T. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will use the Kajabi and Gorgias systems to access the inquiries and requests that have been assigned ticket numbers. For general inquiry tickets, the CSR will independently gather the pertinent information and respond to the requester through email or via telephone. For more complex tickets involving account or membership issues, the CSR may be required to conduct in-depth research and analysis in order to take the steps necessary to resolve the issue. The CSR is expected to work independently; however, assistance may be requested from B2T Leaders with more complex issues when necessary.

Benevolence Fund Manager (BFM)

Summary of Organization: The individual selected for this position will join a cohesive team of dedicated Christian Patriots that support the Blessed2Teach (B2T) Ministry.

Title:  Benevolence Fund Manager

Position: Part-time (hours vary, but estimated up to 10 hours per week)

Who May Apply: Position is open to all B2T Backstage Members

Major Duties: The Benevolence Fund Manager (BFM) is the steward of the contributions entrusted to them. They must enforce standards of accountability to assure funds are collected and disbursed in an appropriate and sound fashion.

The BFM will establish a donation mechanism, such as GiveSendGo or similar, to accept donations to benefit B2T members that are temporarily in financial need.  The BFM will be solely responsible for handling all contributions and disbursements from the fund.

The BFM will advertise the benevolence fund to B2T members to make them aware of the fund in order to make contributions or apply for assistance. If there is a particular need, such as a declared disaster, the BFM will bring awareness to the event to encourage members to contribute or apply if the need exists.

The BFM will accept applications from members in need. Requests will be kept confidential unless the requester waives that right. Applications received will be forwarded to the Financial Assistance Committee Chair to convene the committee to evaluate the request and make a determination. The BFM will not be part of the committee. Once a determination is made, the decision will be sent back to the BFM to act on the decision.

At a minimum, the report should contain the beginning and ending balance of the fund, the amount of donations received during the quarter, the number of beneficiaries for the quarter, and the monies dispersed to each.

Title:  Campaign/Fundraising Manager

Position: Part-time (hours vary, but estimated up to 10 hours per week)

Who May Apply: Position is open to all B2T Backstage Members

Major Duties: The Campaign/Fundraising Manager (CFM) will create effective strategies for maximizing donations by developing goals and an overall marketing plan. Plans will be continually refined to adopt strategies and campaigns that reflect the ideals of the Ministry.

The CFM will identify potential donors, develop their interest in the Ministry, and build a bond between them and the Ministry; creating, maintaining and enhancing relationships that lead to charitable contributions.

The CFM identifies and explores donor pools, plans and manages marketing efforts like direct mail campaigns, plans fundraising events, and may be called upon to write grant proposals. The CFM may also develop alliances with other organizations and work collaboratively to enhance fundraising efforts.
